Agnieszka Fihel

Agnieszka Fihel is a demographer and economist. She received her Ph.D. from the Department of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut national d'études démographiques in France, and taught at several French universities. Since 2018, she has been a researcher at the Centre for Migration Research at the University of Warsaw and a fellow at the Institut Convergences Migrations in Paris. She has conducted several research projects, both as collaborator and principal investigator, on demographic change in post-communist countries, mortality by cause of death, and international migration to and from Poland. • Personal webpage • a.fihel(at)uw.edu.pl
