Weronika Kloc-Nowak

Weronika Kloc-Nowak is a researcher in migration, family sociology, and social demography at the University of Warsaw, where she currently serves as Deputy Director of the Centre of Migration Research. She holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Weronika is the principal investigator of the MIGFERT project, which explores the reproductive behaviour of Polish migrants abroad, return migrants, and Ukrainian immigrants in Poland. In her research and publications she has also addressed the consequences of emigration for intergenerational care and the family communication practices of (grand) parents of migrants in countries of origin. • w.kloc-nowak(at)uw.edu.pl
